July 2024 Bucket List
A very happy July to all of you! I feel like the blog has been a strange place for me lately. It’s a place where I quietly put out content that is likely behind the times but still makes me happy. I get a few comments and I know people are reading based on analytics. But, I still love to show up here because I have control over it. So, I hope you still enjoy these monthly bucket lists and that maybe they inspire you a little to make the most of every month or season.
I have to say, I’ve been seeing a lot of Summer slander online and I get it, not everyone is made for the heat. But I am loving every single second of sunshine and long days we are living in right now!
Read a Book in One Day
A goal every month that I love and have been struggling with all year. But I want to enjoy my July weekends and get lost in a Summer read!
Write in the Evenings
Since my schedule will change with theatre camp, I want to take advantage of my evenings and do my writing then instead of the mornings!
10k Steps a Day
I started this in June and it became a favorite part of my routine! I want to keep it up this next month.
Morning Journal Routine
Since I want to be writing fiction in the evenings, I want to start my day with journaling. I think it will be a good, attainable goal! Plus, I really need to spend time getting my feelings out of my head and onto paper.
Play Tennis
I want to keep up with playing tennis this month! I’ve missed it so much and it feels good to be back in the swing of things.
Meal Prep my Breakfasts
I’m looking forward to having my evenings available for cooking dinner and need to get into a good habit of meal prepping breakfast and lunch!
Declutter Bathroom Cabinets
They are overflowing with empties and products I don’t use anymore, so I need to clear them out! I feel so much better when there isn’t a ton of clutter in my life.
Go Kayaking
We have kayaks available for rent and I think it looks so fun! I usually only kayak when we’re on vacation in the Adirondacks but life is more than waiting for vacation!
No Buy July
I have done this every year since 2021 and it’s a great way to reset financially for the year.
Go to the Farmer’s Market
I really don’t think there’s anything better than Summer Saturdays at the Farmer’s Market.
