Vitamin Read: Summer Reading Challenge
You know all those jokes about how you miss the days where you won a pizza party if your class read the most pages in a year? Or your local library had a Summer Reading Challenge that earned you a gift card? I think we should bring those back as adults. There’s nothing like having a goal that reminds you to check things off your bucket list. Instead of just talking about all those things we want to do, let’s really do them!
That is my goal with this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. Yes, we still have to go to work. Yes, we still have responsibilities. But that doesn’t mean we can’t use our free time to lean into our child side with a Summer Reading Challenge. Throughout the next three months, track your reading and activities here to have the best Summer possible.
There’s room for you to add three of your own prompts. Whether it’s reading with having a cold beverage, watching a book to movie adaptation, or having an indoor summer, get creative! I hope this inpsires you to take things one day at a time and enjoy the small moments.
