My March Bucket List

Every month, these bucket lists help me romanticize my life a little bit more. I love leaning into a quiet, calm, lovely life. For years, all I did was hustle. It was part of my life as a working actor. Auditions, day jobs, out of town gigs, finding time to spending with friends and family, side hustles. If I’m being honest, I love theatre so much. I love being on stage. But the hustle just doesn’t work for me in this season of life.

March can be a rough month but it also a month of renewed hope. I want to have a gentle March and this is how I plan to fill it.

  1. Keep Up My Routines

In February, I found my routines again. I feel like I’ve been trying to get back into these habits for years at this point. I am someone who THRIVES in a routine. A big part of it was completely resetting my sleep routine, which helped me get up earlier feeling good. And since I needed to be up and ready to go early, I had to focus on my wind down time. I feel so much better in this routine and I’m so grateful I got to this point.

  2. Do a Little Writing

Writing has been hard with what’s going on in my personal life. It’s been hard to be “alone” with my thoughts, even in fiction. But I miss it and I don’t want to let what’s going on derail my goals.

  3. Unhaul Books

I’ve been loving selling books on PangoBooks! I have more titles I want to go through and unhaul so keep an eye out for a restock in my shop soon.

  4. Create a “Watch List”

I have some time off in April and I am looking forward to catching up on some new shows and movies. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

  5. Try a New Recipe

I’ve been focusing on cooking and meal prepping a lot more. I love it, but I definitely get into “cooking ruts” more easily because I just like having something ready to eat. I want to try a new recipe to add to the rotation!

  6. Schedule Summer Vacations

We are going on two vacations this Summer and I cannot WAIT! I want to nail down all the details as soon as possible because I need them to look forward to.

  7. Declutter Closet

I’m continuing my year of less! I cleared out of my dresser and now I want to do my hanging clothes. I don’t even want to attempt my crewneck collection yet…but my hanging clothes are definitely ready to be looked at!

  8. Continue Low Spend Month/Year

I’ve really enjoyed my Year of Less and mindful spending. I’ve been able to refocus my spending towards beautiful things I want and need vs. things that just catch my eye in the moment.

  9. Hang Art in Office

I have some beautiful bookish art and other pieces I’ve framed sitting next to my printer for ages. It’s time to get them hung!

  10. Rearrange Office

Since I have this new art, I’ve also had the urge to rearrange my office. I feel like I could make the set up way more functional but it’s a small-ish space and I need to do some thinking on it.
