2023 Fall Reading Guide
Welcome to the coziest time of year! While I am fresh off vacation and we are under a heat advisory, ending our Summer with a trip to the lake has me in a “back to school” kind of mood. It feels good to be at my desk and getting organized for the remainder of the year. So, it’s the perfect time for my Fall Reading Guide! I shared a downloadable version in my Newsletter over the weekend. If you want to get my guides first, I recommend subscribing! This year’s guide is focusing on new releases, backlist Fall favorites, and some backlist reads that are own my Fall TBR, in addition to all the new releases I can’t wait to gobble up.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
This is the perfect book to read in a day if you’re looking for something fun, page turning, and a little thrilling.
The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
I’ve always dubbed this book Halloweentown meets Gilmore Girls and I stand by it.
The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen
This was one of the most unique books I’ve read, with a little romance and a little magical realism.
The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches
If you’re looking for a book that feels like sipping your tea (that is the perfect temperature) on the first chilly day of Fall, you need to read this book.
Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross
While this is a Spring 2023 release, I feel like it’s perfect for Fall and a fantasy that has taken the dark academia sector/romantasy sections of TikTok by storm!
The Blonde Identity by Ally Carter
This is a PERFECT Fall read for anyone who’s looking for a little action, a little Romance, and a lot of fun this season.
A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli
While Holly Jolly is in the title, I’ve always thought of this as a Fall book because it starts during Diwali, which is in November this year, and ends at the holidays. It’s such a delight!
