Weekly Wrap Up 12/1/23

Happy December! I can’t believe we’ve reached the last month of 2023. I have a lot of feelings that are wrapped up in my head about what it means, but honestly, I just want to enjoy this month. Life has been pretty hard lately, especially in November, and I’m ready to make the most of each small day. My goal for this month is to be as intentional as possible with my time. I spent a lot of November scrolling and disassociating because that’s what I needed in the moment, but I’m ready to be intentional with caring for myself mentally and physically.

I hope you’re excited for the coziest and busiest month as well. I can’t wait to read together for Tis the Readson 2023 and enjoy the holidays with Nick. We actually have our first holiday party this weekend and I’m going to see The Nutcracker with my mom! I saw Jinx and Dela’s Holiday Show last Sunday too and it was SO much fun to do that with my best friend. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday if you celebrated and a great first weekend of December!

Small Joys of the Week:

  1. Our first snow—We finally had some snow that stuck! We got about 4 inches which was perfect to make things cozy and festive without totally derailing the day or making these dangerous.

    2. Gobblers for Dinner—Thanksgiving Sandwiches. They’re our favorite and we’re a perfect midweek treat.

  2. Finished Decorating—I decorated slowly and intentionally this year and I LOVE how it all turned out.

Weekend Plans

We have a Friendmas celebration, I’m going to see The Nutcracker, and I have to work at the theater. But in between all that festive (and work) cheer, I’ll be reading from my holiday TBR!
