Weekly Wrap Up 4/29/22

We went from 80 degrees on Sunday to snow Wednesday and chilly sunshine at the end of the week. April is full of surprises. But it was a fantastic reading week! I did a bunch of preorders for the Barnes & Noble 25% off pre-sale order event, treated myself to a mystery box from The Novel Neighbor, and got back into my cooking groove. Plus, I finally read and finished Crescent City 2. It was SO GOOD. SJM’s writing and storytelling has grown so much since Throne of Glass and ACOTAR.

Be sure to be on the lookout for tomorrow’s newsletter! Going to be some fun goodies in there AND tomorrow, Saturday April 30, is our one year anniversary and independent bookstore day. Busy, busy day!

What I Read:

My Killer Vacation // A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder // Crescent City 2 // Black Girls Must Die Exhausted

Listening & Watching:

Coastal Grandmother Playlist // Maid in Manhattan // Miss Congeniality // Abbott Elementary

Weekend Plans:

We’ll be celebrating our one year anniversary! It’s weird because we’ve been together for 10 years but our first marriage anniversary is a special one, especially since our journey to the altar was interrupted due to the pandemic. I’m excited to watch out video, look at photos, and enjoy a day together!
