May Bucket List
New month, new bucket list. I make these so that I stay on track with the things I want to accomplish in the 30 or so days. It reminds me to let life slow down, enjoy the little things, and don’t let time pass by too quickly. Plus, summer is upon us! I used to think I was a Fall girl, but I am a Summer girl through and through. I can’t wait!
Host the #ReadIntoSummer Readathon—This will be my 2nd year hosting this Readathon! It’s always low key but I hope it helps set the summer reading mood. I host it over Memorial Day Weekend in the US and aim to read a book a day. I’ll have more details soon! But it will be Friday May 27-Monday May 30.
Share My Summer Reading Guide—My favorite reading guide of the year! I can’t wait to share all the beachy reads, romances, and thrillers you’ll want to bring in your pool bag this summer.
Read a Book in One Sitting—Gotta be on the list!
Go to the Driving Range—I can’t wait to get back into golf! It was so fun to learn last year and I’ve missed it over the Winter.
Purchase One Book from an Indie Bookstore—Now that I’ve ventured to the indie bookstores in my area, I can’t wait to support them!
Go on a Weekend Trip to the Lake —We used to go to Lake Placid every Memorial Day but I start rehearsals for my Summer show in mid May so I want to squeeze in a trip earlier!
Finish Draft 3 of my Solo Novel—And I’ll be on track for my yearly writing goals!
Visit my Family—This Summer is going to be busy so I want to see if we can get to Connecticut but we may have to choose between CT and Lake Placid.
Revamp My Morning Routine—I have been struggling to make the most of my mornings lately! I want to try to get out of bed earlier and go right to my desk for a bit and see if that helps with focus.
Start Our Garden—The balcony garden will be back for a second year! Nick got really into gardening in 2020 and we have kept up with it. Can’t wait to get planting!
