Weekly Wrap Up 10/1/21
Hello, October! Is it another month where I lament on how fast time has gone? Yes, yes it is. September FLEW but it was such a good month. From our little trip to Lake Placid to cozy weekends at home, it’s been nice to settle into the slower pace of Fall.
This past week was BUSY. Nick and I joined the board for the Theatre Department at our University and we had our first meeting as members. Sadly, a friend’s father passed away so we also had to attend those services. Plus, it’s been chaotic work wise getting ready for the holiday season. So I didn’t read too much but that’s totally okay!
ICYMI, what I read in September.
What I Read:
Payback’s a Witch // Plain Bad Heroines
Currently Reading:
The Legacy // The Mistletoe Pact
Purchases of the Week:
The Matzah Ball // Sweet Love // Crew Socks // Jeans //
Got My Eye On:
Waiting For Tee // Black Heels // Pumpkin PJs // Acrylic Desk Organizer // Acrylic Pen Holder //
Videos & Articles:
The anxiety of this new phase of this Pandemic from Cup of Jo helped me process what I’m feeling lately.
This article from The Atlantic highlighted a lot of the frustrations I’ve been having with how the US has handled the entire Pandemic.
Weekend Plans
Our sweet B had surgery on Thursday so we are planning on laying low this weekend. I also want to plant some mums in our garden and hopefully visit a pumpkin patch. Maybe apple picking too, since somehow September flew by and we didn’t get to cross that off the bucket list!
