7 Books for a Vacation State of Mind

As Summer sadly begins to wind down, I still feel like I haven’t had nearly enough “vacation” time. The season has absolutely flown by and I’m so sad about it. Our mini moon was a fantastic escape in May but even that feels like it was so long ago! But in thinking about that trip, the greatest thing I realized was that it was state of mind that shifted.

Vacation is a state of mind. It’s when you’re most relaxed and able to full let your mind rest. That is the magic of vacation and I think why we crave it so much. As someone who rarely sits still, time off from work is so important to me.

I’ve rounded up some of the books that capture the feeling of vacation. The travel, new places, falling into another version of yourself that only comes out while on vacation.
