Wedding Wednesday: Cake Tasting

If there were two things Nick couldn’t wait for when it came to wedding planning, it was the menu tasting and the cake tasting. After our cake tasting this weekend, I can confirm they will be his favorite parts lol

After all the stressful parts of wedding planning, it was so fun to have a morning of fun and sugar with my fiance.

Our cake is from Sweet Cakes in Fairfield, CT. Suzette is so talented and she’s done the cakes for almost every major life event I’ve ever had. It was a no-brainer to choose her!

We chose two amazing flavors and even got to bring home the remaining samples to enjoy for the rest of the weekend. It was such a small, special moment and a reminder of why you’re going through all the planning stress—for more moments with your best friend to laugh and smile and clean a smudge of frosting from their cheek.
