Wedding Wednesday: Signature Decor
I am so excited to share a super exciting piece of our wedding! Something that was really important to me when we began planning was that we were able to weave some really personal touches throughout. I think weddings can sometimes turn into generic, impersonal affairs with all the pomp and circumstance, so any place we can a little touch of “Phoebe and Nick” is a win in my book!
I was lucky enough to team up with Copper and Confetti Co on Etsy to create a custom drinks sign for our bar! Working with Lauren was so easy and she was able to create something to our exact specification.
When Lauren reached out to me, she sent me the link to her shop and said she was able to create any revisions we wanted. I knew we wanted something for the bar and I love the little illustrations of the bride and groom she does! However, our wedding is Black Tie and pretty formal; I didn’t feel like the illustrations fit our vibe.
So, I asked Lauren if she could create illustrations of our signature drinks instead! We’re not having signature drinks in the sense that we’re creating specific drinks for the occasion. But we thought it would be fun to include our favorites, just as a fun and personal touch. Here’s what Lauren created for us!
We absolutely love it and the process was so simple! I described to Lauren what I wanted and she created our first proof. From there we made minor revisions and then our final product, including what size we wanted. We chose 8x10 but Lauren can do any size and works really quickly too. In an industry when it feels like you’re just waiting and waiting, it was refreshing to get something nearly instantly. When finished, Lauren sent me two files: one for printing at home and one for printing websites. The whole process was a breeze and I can’t wait to share photos of the sign in action. We have LOTS of other ways we are going to be incorporating personal touches. Stay tuned! Just…318 days to go! (Lol)

A HUGE thanks to Lauren and Copper and Confetti Co for gifting us this special piece for our wedding!
