The Ali Forney Center

We interrupt your regularly scheduled book related post to share something special for Pride Month!

If you didn’t catch my Instagram post over the weekend, my best friend Mark and I are teaming up to raise money for the Ali Fourney Center during pride month!

The Ali Fourney Center is the largest LGBTQ+ center helping homeless youth in the US. The AFC manages and develops transitional housing for its clients and help approximately 1,000 youths every year.

I grew up in a loving, supportive household. And even though I am a cis straight woman, I know how important it is to offer my voice as an ally. I’ve watched a lot of friends struggle with their identity and sexuality and while they all have had supportive families for the most part, there are so many young people who do not.

Donate $5 by June 26th (bonus points if you know the significance of this date!) and you will be entered to win some fantastic prizes, including a signed copy of What if it's Us by Becky Abertalli and Adam Silvera and Disney pride merch!
