What I Read in November 2024
I feel like I’ve been slacking on these monthly wrap ups, but I think I’ve only missed October this year?! Who knows, but I love them and I love to look back on them. Considering November was a, ehm, tough month to focus to say the least, I read 14 books and had some standout favorites.
The Most Wonderful Time by Jayne Allen
This was super cute and followed the tropes from a favorite Christmas movie of mine, The Holiday.
The Merriest Misters by Timothy Janovsky
I wanted to love this book, because I loved his other Christmas book, but it felt soooo drawn out to me. I’d recommend You’re a Mean One, Matthew Prince if you want a festive queer romance from this author!
I’ll Be Gone for Christmas by Georgia K. Boone
Now this was a super cute reimagined version of The Holiday I loved! I recommend this one for sure.
Cruel Winter with You by Ali Hazelwood
This novella collection had some major hits and major misses IMO. I liked this one but didn’t love it.
Merry Ever After by Tessa Bailey
Yeah sadly this one made me cringe.
All By My Elf by Olivia Dade
This was cute but felt like nothing happened until it all happened.
Merriment and Mayhem by Alexandria Bellefleur
I think this was my favorite of the series!
Only Santas in the Building by Alexis Daria
I love Alexis Daria forever! I thought this was the sweetest little novella.
Love in Bloom by Lucy Eden
I think I liked this? But it also confused me.
Christmas is All Around by Martha Waters
A delightful surprise! I really liked this one and recommend it, especially on audio!
A Queen’s Game by Katharine McGee
A favorite of the month! I think this is one of her best books yet.
Catch and Keep by Erin Hahn
I also loved this one!
The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling
Cute, not too christmassy, but still witchy and festive.
The Co-Op by Tarah DeWitt
I loved this book so much!
