Weekly Wrap Up 1/19/24
Happy Friday! Even though it feels a bit like groundhog day around here since it’s been snowing constantly since last Saturday. I’ve been documenting it on Instagram but it’s been quite a sight. Travel bans, worrying about losing power, cooking, baking, football. And repeat. It seems like the snow is finally stopping tonight. Don’t get me wrong, I love snow. I love Winter and being cozy. But when it gets this dangerous, it’s not fun anymore. And I love a snow day not a snow week.
But it was a great week for reading! I’m so grateful for the time I had to read and slow down. It was almost like a mini second winter break (though I did still have to work from home), which is very much a privilege.

Weekend Plans:
Nick is going skiing (sadly I’m not able to participate this season) so I’ll be having a quiet Saturday at home. Which looks a lot like the rest of this past week with all the snow honestly. But my mind was definitely preoccupied so I’m hoping a quiet Saturday off my phone will help put some things in perspective for me.
I hope you have a great weekend, whether you’re in a warm or cold place. Go Bills!
