The Weekly Wrap Up 1/12/24
Happy Friday and happy long weekend! Thank goodness. I am very much looking forward to the long weekend because this past week was a rough one. On top of that, we had some dicey weather which just made me want to stay home and watch movies. However, I feel like I finally found a reading groove which always leaves me feeling more like myself. I mentioned this last week, but I am leaning heavily into Hygge this year and I highly recommend it for the Winter months.
I don’t read a lot of thrillers, mostly because I feel like the real world is scary enough, but there’s something about a YA thriller that I just love. The pacing is usually great and the stakes are always SO high. I had a great time reading Liar’s Beach and loved the Martha’s Vineyard setting.
What are you loving right now? I need a new show to binge watch and some new recipes to make!

Weekend Plans:
I have to work a little this weekend but I am looking forward to having Monday off! My friend and I are going to see the Mean Girls movie musical and can’t wait. It’s also the first weekend of playoff football! The weather is looking dicey but I’m rooting for my Bills nonetheless. And if we get a cozy snowy weekend, I’ll definitely be happy too. I’m back in a reading groove, which feels great, and also will be organizing my closet. Hopefully feeling a little bit more like myself continues and I can have a productive weekend!
We’re going on a date night to the movies to see Anyone But You and I can’t wait! I didn’t know It was a Much Ado About Nothing retelling, which is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays so I can’t wait. Plus, a good date night is what I really need right now. Happy weekend!
