Weekly Wrap Up 6/2/23 — Read & Wright

Happy June! I can’t believe we are halfway through the year. June is always so exciting because the whole Summer is laid out before us, it’s Pride Month, the warm weather is finally consistent, and all the exciting new books and shows are releasing soon. Anybody else agree?

Last weekend, we spent the long weekend at home in Connecticut and it was so wonderful. One of my dearest friends had the most beautiful wedding of all time. It was STUNNING and I wept profusely with joy. But I didn’t read a page! It actually felt good to take a break and be present with my friends and family. But when we got home, I got right back into my reading routine which felt good!

It’s a long weekend of performances for my students, but after this weekend, it is SUMMER. I am looking forward to taking care of my mental health this Summer, because the last couple of months have been a bit of a challenge. I hope you have a great weekend!
