Weekly Wrap Up 5/26/23 — Read & Wright

Happy unofficial start of Summer to all my fellow Summer people! I always love Memorial Day Weekend in the US because it always is full of excitement. We typically go to Lake Placid and have a relaxing weekend at the lake, but this year we are traveling back home to Connecticut for a wedding! I’m excited to be back home and to see my parents for a bit. The venue is also STUNNING so I think we’ll have a wonderful weekend celebrating some of our favorite people.

I’m really looking forward to it because after being sick last week, I fell into a bit of a funk, which has been the theme for the year. I’m really struggling with some things but I know I’ll be okay! It was a great reading week and I’m so grateful for books to escape into.

Weekend Plans:

Something extra special we’re doing this weekend is visiting our wedding venue! We’ll be having dinner there to celebrate our first and second anniversaries since we didn’t get to do anything for them. I am very excited! The team there was so wonderful when we had to go about postponing out wedding due to the pandemic, so I’m excited to have a meal there and spend some time with Nick. We haven’t had a ton of it lately!
