June's New Book Releases
One of the best parts of the calendar changing is a whole new set of books coming out! June is a packed publication month. I’m especially excited for the YA books that are coming out. During my conversation with TJ Alexander on Read It or List It, they talked about how they’ve been reading a lot of YA recently since the titles are so exciting and inclusive. I have to agree! But of course, lots of Romance, Adult Fiction, and others as well.
Let me know what titles you’re most excited for!
A Perfect Vintage by Chelsea Fagan
This is a lot like The Idea of You but without the celebrity element and set in wine country France.
The Wind Knows My Name by Isabelle Allende
A little 1938 historical fiction if that’s your vibe from one of the best!
Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan
I LOVED this book. If you enjoyed Every Summer After, i think you’ll really like this book as well.
Unfortunately Yours by Tessa Bailey
The second books in the Napa series! I believe it’s a fake dating romance.
The Girls of Summer by Katie Bishop
Honestly, tell me there’s a book set In Greece and I’ll read it. This is a big of a mystery as well!
The Whispers by Ashley Audrain
From the author of The Push!
When It All Syncs Up by Maya Ameyaw
This is one of the YA books I’m so excited about! It’s about Black ballerina facing discrimination while applying to elite ballet schools.
The Queens of New York by E.L. Shen
The description of this book reminds me a lot of The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, which was one of my very favorite books growing up! It sounds so exciting.
Much Ado About Nada by Uzma Jalaluddin
Set in Toronto! A main character on the cusp of 30! Saying goodbye to old dreams and setting new goals! This sounds G O O D.
Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
Not going to lie…I didn’t love Love on the Brain last year, but I still have high hopes for Ali Hazelwood’s latest!
The Spectacular by Fiona Davis
I don’t read a lot of historical fiction, but I am always drawn to ones set in New York City! And I was totally on board with this one after I saw Radio City 👀
Going Bicoastal by Dahlia Adler
The Drowning Woman by Robyn Harding
The Second Ending by Michelle Hoffman
Hotel Laguna by Nicola Harrison
The Only One Left by Riley Sager
First Position by Melanie Harlow
Play for Me by Libby Hubscher
Zero Days by Ruth Ware
The Spare Room by Andrea Bartz
The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston
Will They or Won’t They by Ava Wilder
This was a huge win for me! I loved this celebrity second chance romance. Ava Wilder has become an autobuy author for me. IAmazon | Bookshop.org
The Wife App by Carolyn Mackler
What Happens After Midnight by K.L. Walther
I was obsessed with this book! It’s technically YA but it skews on the mature side, since they’re graduating seniors. I loved the setting!
Sing Me to Sleep by Gabi Burton
This new YA fantasy is supposed to be fantastic. I haven’t been in a fantasy mood in quite some time but this is definitely intriguing me!
Invisible Son by Kim Johnson
I read this author’s first book, This is My America, and loved her writing. I’m excited for what’s next!
