Weekly Wrap Up 3/16/23
I don’t think I’ve ever been so affected by Day Light Savings but WOW did the time change mess with me this year! I won’t lie, I love that we have light later in the day. It’s so satisfying and makes me feel like I have so much more time. I also spent this week getting my morning routine under control. I’ve been struggling since the calendar turned to 2023 to get my mornings back. And this week, with the help of some virtual writing sessions, I think I’m finally back on track.
And it feels GOOD. I have some big goals for 2023 and finding the time for everything is overwhelming, but not impossible. It’s all about taking care of myself the way that makes me feel like the strongest version of me. And it doesn’t hurt that I’m getting back into my #ReadAndRise flow and reading in the morning! The days get so busy, having a few hours to myself in the morning make the biggest difference.
And I read some fantastic books! Oh, Happy St. Paddy’s Day! I’ll be making my family’s famous Irish Cream Pound Cake to celebrate and maybe some corned beef and cabbage as well.

Weekend Plans:
Because I love to be late to a trend, I’m doing my very first escape room this weekend! I’m really excited. We’re going to see some friends I haven’t seen in a while and also get Hibachi, which I haven’t had since pre-pandemic. I also think this will finally be the weekend I rearrange my office so it’s also a cozy reading room! I’m looking forward to a weekend to rest and recharge. I hope you have a great one!
