Weekly Wrap Up 2/10/23
I love the idea that January is the “trial” period of the year. February has been extremely busy, but it’s also been about prioritizing my routines so that I have more successful days. I did a big grocery shop yesterday so that I could meal prep and gosh it felt good. I’ve been eating out a lot since I haven’t been home and while I love a good treat, it was starting to leave me feeling extra sluggish and stressed. Now, I feel like I’m prepared for my long days.
After our mini vacation in Lake Placid (our favorite place!) and having a little writing retreat, I feel even more motivated to make my dreams and goals a reality this year. Nick is so sweet in the way he supports me and it was so nice to have that time away together. I love the mountains so much. The town always make me think of Fredrik Backman’s Beartown because it’s full of winter magic, hockey, and athletes from all over the world.
But now that we’re home and back in our routines. I’m aiming for a low spend month. I don’t want to do a total No Buy month, but I do want to continue to be mindful of my spending. Here’s what else I was up to this week!

Weekend Plans:
It’s another packed weekend full of rehearsals, but Nick and I have decided to start a new tradition for Sunday nights! We’re going to watch new movies on Sunday nights to relax before the start of a new week. We’re going to prioritize new and new to us movies that we’ve never seen! I’m actually really excited for this and I think it will fit in with the theme of “routine” I’m so desperate to find this month.
