March's New Book Releases On My Radar

Tis the season for new books! March is always a big publication month before the Summer titles start coming out. I thought I’d round up the nine titles I’ve got my eye on for one reason or another that are out this month. From charming YA pieces to historical romance and rom coms, hopefully there’s something here for everyone to add to their carry-ons before they head off on a much needed Spring Break trip!

The Quarantine Princess by Meg Cabot

I know I know I know…but aren’t you curious how Princess Mia would have lead Genovia through the pandemic?! I wish she’d been our leader during the early days.

The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner

A little historical fiction mixed with fantasy from the author of last year’s high, The Lost Apothecary.

Strangers in the Night: A Novel of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner by Heather Webb

I love stories from Old Hollywood (though I know there was so much wrong with it and still is today) so i’m intrigued by this novelization of Frank and Ava.

The Golden Spoon by Jessa Maxwell

This books has been everywhere on 2023 Most Anticipated lists. It’s pitched as a “delicious combo” of Clue and The Great British Bake Off, which honestly sounds like perfection.

Off the Map by Trish Doller

I have really loved Trish Doller’s romances! They’re on the low end of the spice scale (basically fade to black) but she writes really rich worlds and takes you to some fabulous places. If you’ve got wanderlust, I highly recommend her romances! This one takes us to Ireland!

Infamous by Lex Croucher

“Booksmart meets Bridgeton” is all I need to hear.

Study Break by Jake Maia Arlow, Arushi Avachat, Boon Carmen, Ananya Devarajan, Camryn Garrett, Christina Li, Racquel Marie, Oyin, Laila Sabreen, Michael Waters, and Joelle Wellington.

This is a YA anthology about the transition from high school to college, with tales from orientation to graduation.

Chloe and the Kaishao Boy by Mae Coyioto

All I need to hear is “for fans of To All the Boys I Loved Before” and I am all in.

Royal Blood by Aimee Carter

I think this might by my most anticipated read of March and definitely one I missed when making my lists for 2023! I love royal fiction and this sounds like it’s packed with scandal as it follows the “illegitimate” American love child of the King of England who spends the summer with the royal family and becomes the suspect of a murder. GIVE IT TO ME NOW!

What type of books do you crave this time of year? Are any of these on your radar?
