Weekly Wrap Up
Hello my friends and welcome July. This week felt like an entire month. I don’t need to repeat myself on how angry, sad, and scared I am regarding the overturn of Roe. But I am still processing and reeling from the decision, on top of all the other ridiculous cases the Supreme Court voted on this week. These are indeed terrifying and sad times.
I had hoped to find some solace in reading. But I feel like I’ve been dissociating for so long that at this point, I needed to feel my feelings. I wrote about the poignant and healing production of Cabaret I got to see in my Newsletter. I was so grateful to have the time since my own show has been keeping me quite busy this month.
I vowed that I would let June be June and I wouldn’t put too much pressure on myself. But I can’t help but feel I wasted the last thirty days. I want to enjoy the rest of the summer, as much as I can.

Weekend Plans:
It’s a long weekend and all I want to celebrate is sitting by the pool with plenty of sunscreen and a summery romance. Maybe squeak out a beach trip on Monday.
Feel your feelings, my friends. And let’s fight like hell.
