Weekly Wrap Up 3/18/22

What a cool and busy week! Monday had a small girl’s night to celebrate two of my friends March birthdays. Then Tuesday I went back to bookclub for the first time since November and on Wednesday, I went to my first in person book even since March 2020! I got to meet and chat with Alison Bechdel, who has pioneered so much in the comic and queer communities. It was an absolute pleasure and something I never thought I’d have access to again after leaving the city. But now, I know of a program in our new home that celebrates the arts, literacy, and engaging discussion surrounding books! I’m so happy.

If you haven’t read any of Bechdel’s graphic memoirs, I cannot recommend them enough! FUN HOME is also a musical and I know it’s so special to people.

It was a no spend week! And it felt GOOD. I can’t wait to do a huge Spring Cleaning clean out of my closet and office soon. It needs some major TLC.

I’m in Connecticut this weekend to hang out with my parents! Nick is working out of town this weekend so I decided to make the trip. We’ve got some lovely weather today but it looks like rain the rest of the weekend.
