First Day of Spring: Hades and Persephone Retellings
Happy first day of Spring! My high school English teacher (Hi Mrs. D!) named her daughter Persephone and always made a big deal about today in honor of it. I love a good Hades and Persephone retelling which isn’t surprising since I love retellings. But I am particularly drawn to Greek Mythology.
I studied Latin in high school and college and also took Greek in college! I had a FANTASTIC professor (Hi Professor Begley! He’s not reading this but I wish he would, I adored him) who made me love so many aspects of the language, history, and mythology.
Here’s a little bit on the story of Hades and Persephone if you’re unfamiliar!
Now most of these are Romance retellings, so they range in spice levels. But a few of them are QUITE spicy 👀 so you’ve been warned if that’s not your thing!
