Thanksgiving Themed Novels and Novellas

This time of year is so busy that I feel like a themed novella is the perfect way to get some reading in. I found a couple that center on Thanksgiving, but please know that I am very aware of the reality surrounding this holiday. I highly recommend looking up what land you are living on and contributing to the Indigenous communities in your area.

I found this 2018 post very helpful to remind me of the ways to decolonize my celebrations and keep the Indigenous communities that suffered at the forefront of my mind throughout the season. Thanksgiving is a tradition but we don’t have to feed into the lies.

I am not trying to be preachy at all, it’s just something I feel is important for myself to balance, especially with having a public platform. I love my family’s traditions when it comes to Thanksgiving so much, so I want to honor the reasons I have them.

Grateful for You by Katana Collins

A steamy, small town novella! Piper’s car skids off the road when she’s on the run (with her perfect dog, Athena) when she is rescued by the town sheriff who happens to be the most eligible bachelor in town.
