Weekly Wrap Up 10/21/22
It was a cold, rainy, dreary week. It was a tough one for me but I’m looking forward to a restorative weekend with Nick and Beasley. We’re going to sneak away to a nearby town that we love to visit and enjoy the weather. The forecast promises sun and warmth so I am READY. I did get to go back to Neverland this week and return to my show, which felt SO good. I love that cast so much.
I’ve still been struggling to get into a good reading groove. I’ve been saying it for months but this is another reminder that sometimes we struggle to find times for the things we love. My schedule has been absolutely PACKED lately and my mornings have been starting later and later because I’ve been getting home later and later.
We’re not “post pandemic” yet but it feels like we have to be and I still long for that slow, easy Fall of 2020. It was quiet and I thrived with a schedule I could rely on. It was a terrible season for so many and I hate to romanticize it. I try to keep perspective. But I’ve been reminiscing on it lately and I don’t know, I want to find some of that balance again.

Weekend Plans:
We have a weekend with no plans for the first time since Summer ended and I am ready to enjoy all things Fall. We’re going to sneak away for a day trip to a brewery with our little family. It’s our Bye Week for football so we’ll be doing our Fal clean out, finally putting out some festive decor, and relaxing before the last full week of October. I can’t believe it!
