Our Wedding: Getting Ready!
I’m so excited to share the start of our wedding photos! If you’ve been following for a while, you know it was quite the journey for us to get here. In the beginning, I did really enjoy wedding planning and even though the pandemic stole a lot of that joy, I look back on the day and would do it all over again the exact same way.
I’ve said this a lot, but 2020-2021 was my favorite year of our relationship. We were actually home and able to spend time together. I’ll never forget the shows we watched and the meals we prepared. The laughs and how strong Nick remained while I struggled, never allowing me to feel alone.
When our day finally arrived, there was so much joy and happiness. We are so grateful to our friends and family for joining us in celebration and making our dreams come true.

We light this photo of my Nana when we need her to watch over us. I never knew her but I’m named for her!
Amber is the most brilliant make up artist and made me feel so beautiful!
It was really important to me that I was able to get ready for my wedding at the home I grew up in.

My mom did such a good job getting the house ready for all of us AND for brunch the next day!
Grace was my Matron of Honor and I’ve known her since we were kids! We used to sail together. Nap Dress in White Swiss Dot.

My bracelet is from my best friend, Mark, and it' says “Happily Ever After.”

I gave Nick a signet ring engraved with our family crest that we had commissioned.
They couldn’t be more beautiful!
Our flowers were my favorite details and I’m heartbroken because our dear florist, Peter, passed away in late June. We were his first wedding post-Covid and his last.
