Summer Reading: Pool Bag Essentials

If you haven’t gathered yet, my favorite season for reading is Summer. Reading is a huge part of any vacation we take, weather it’s to the pool, beach, or lake and I have plenty of tips and trick to make reading in the sun and sand a little easier. I’m not one to get too concerned about protecting my pages but I know a lot of others are!

Towel—Essential for you but also to dry your hands off before turning the page!

Kindle Paperwhite—I love my Kindle so much but the best part is that it’s waterproof! I read on it while in the pool on super hot days and don’t have to worry about it being damaged!

Wet/Dry Bag—This is my latest hack to protect my books in my bag from my wet towel. Obviously check the dimensions but most can fit a standard size hardcover book.

Book Darts—I love book darts for so many reasons but it’s especially great if you like to mark quotes but don’t want to mess with a highlighter or pen while by the water.

Book Sleeve—Another option to protect your pages! Rachel’s sleeves are my favorite and her summery sleeves are the best. There may be some special summer sleeves coming soon ;)

Pool Bag—I love this bag and it has handles long enough to go over your shoulder. It would also be a great carry on!

Sunscreen—SunBum is my favorite inexpensive reef safe sunscreen!

Koozie—For sparking waters or spiked seltzers! How funny is this one?

Magnetic Bookmark—How cute is this anchor magnetic bookmark?! I love it so much and you don’t have to worry about damaging your regular bookmarks.

Book Weight—For hands free reading, perfect for eating or if your laying out!
