Weekly Wrap Up 2-26-21

The final week of February! The sun is shining, the snow is melting, and while this might be Fool’s Spring, I am definitely pleased and soaking in all the vitamin D i can muster before it disappears. It’s still * so cold * but I’m going to enjoy it while I can!

I have lots of reviews coming for the books I read this month. I feel like I’ve fallen off the review schedule! But we’re getting right back on it so be on the lookout, especially for some highly requested books!

What I Read:

First Comes Like by Alisha Rai, A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

Currently Reading:

A Court of Silver Flames via audio—Look, I’m not proud but I am not ready to leave this world yet and it’s on Scribd.

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert—Thank you Avon books for one of my most anticipated 2021 books!

Liar by Tate James—The second in the Madison Kate dark romance series. I never thought I’d read dark romance but here I am.

Bits & Bobs:

I’ve been trying to deny it but I’m officially obsessed with TikTok. YouTube has always been my favorite form of social media and I still love it, but TikTok has definitely sucked me in. I want to start making some but I’m afraid I’m not funny enough LOL.

Truthfully, I’m more tired and run down than I’ve been since the Pandemic started. I wish we had a vacation or something to look forward to. The cold is starting to wear on me, which hasn’t happened during a winter before. But I really miss the sunshine and sitting on patios safely with friends. I think with vaccine rollout, the phrase, “It’s always darkest before the dawn” rings true.

I have been planning to bring back my newsletter in February but with this unexpected trip home, I’m vowing that MARCH will be the return of the newsletter. Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it!

Recipes to Try this Week:

Let’s be real, I get all my recipes from Claire. I am definitely making her mother-in-law’s Peanut Pasta this week!

Weekend Plans:

I’m in Connecticut this weekend to take care of some personal things. It’s nice to be home but the added stress of traveling during the pandemic is tough. I just want to be able to hug my parents but I know keeping distance is important. I was oddly really looking forward to the long drive. I had planned on starting a different audiobook, but after finishing Silver Flames at 10:45pm Wednesday, I woke up Thursday morning and wasn’t ready to leave the world yet.

How was your week?
