What I Read In November 2021

Another month has come and gone in 2021 and I truly can’t believe it. Even though I spent a lot of this month writing, I still managed to read 12 books! I continued to read more romance, dip my toes back into dark romance, a play (which felt so good) and one memoir for Non Fiction November.

Heard It In a Love Song by Tracey Garvis Graves

I liked this book but didn’t love it. It wasn’t a romance like I was expecting and while I thought the message of the story was beautiful, it wasn’t the book for me.

Tools of Engagement by Tessa Bailey

I truly devoured this series by Tessa Bailey. Fix Her Up was my favorite and then this one. Wes was dreamy and this series is seriously just so fun and hella steamy.

So, This is Christmas by Tracey Andreen

I thought this book was cute. A YA Hallmarky vibe!

Taste by Stanley Tucci

I highly recommend this book on audio. Don’t ask me to explain it, but it’s just so sexy. Trust me on this.

Blame It On the Mistletoe by Beth Garrod

I didn’t love how this book was paced, but enjoyed it for the YA story that it was. It’s also SUPER festive.

Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean

I LOVED this book. It was like the Princess Diaries but even better. So fun. The audio is great as well!

Anarchy by Tate James

I finally went back to the Hades series this month and HOLY CLIFFHANGERS, TATE JAMES!!!

Club 22 by Tate James

This cliffhanger is BRUTAL but omg book 3 was so good.

Timber by Tate James

I have to do a full series review on Hades but I will say, book 4 showed me that I have a limit when it comes to dark romance. The beginning of this DARK. Trigger warnings for kidnapping, sexual assault, violence, rape.

The Siegel by Michael Mitnick (Play)

I read a play for the first time in nearly two years and it felt so good. This is a very millennial piece and I think i’m going to make reading plays a monthly goal again in 2022.

The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata

My first Mariana Zapata and I can confirm that she really is the queen of the SLOWWWW burn.

Love, Lists, and Fancy Ship by Sarah Grunder Ruiz

This was a fun and emotional read that I could relate to a bunch. It was good and a quick read!
