Wedding Wednesday: Our Registry
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know Nick and I had a very special day at the beginning of January where we went to William Sonoma to begin our wedding registry. It was an overwhelming day but it was so fun to pick out pieces that will be potentially in our lives forever.
And then it got deleted.
I can’t even begin to describe how stressful it was. There was a system wide failure and I must have refreshed our page at just the right moment because it totally disappeared. I burst into tears, their customer service was terrible and then…I stopped myself. They’re just things. And it could be redone.
My bridesmaids were amazing and helped me handle the customer service end of things and then I got a bottle of wine, put on To All the Boys I Loved Before and started over.
If you’d like to see some of the things we registered for, you can see here! And honestly, I learned a lot through this unfortunate mishap.
You don’t need to go crazy on your registry. People will shop off registry all the time anyway and you will get cash and gift cards. There’s no reason to panic or stress—but believe me, I GET IT.
My first bridal shower is this weekend, so we’ve already been gifted a few lovely things and I’m so excited to reorganize our kitchen to accommodate them!
