Wedding Wednesday: How I Organize my Wedding Planning

When I first started wedding planning, I set out to be the world’s most organized bride. I knew what I wanted, how I wanted it, and when to have it done by. And then…life happened.

Because life tends to happen, it’s important to keep everything together and organized, on top of everything else I do in a given day. Sometimes I feel like I have four full time jobs with everything I’m trying to juggle, while also maintaining my sanity!

  1. A binder—I chose a binder than complemented our wedding colors/theme and I keep all contracts and paperwork in it!

  2. A Calendar/Planner—I bought this off Amazon and I’ve loved it!

  3. Running lists broken down by month—I make a To Do list for everything that needs to get done

  4. Vision Boards—Using Pinterest and good old fashioned scissors and glue, I create inspiration boards to take with me to meetings so my vendors can clearly see what I want

  5. Delegate—You have bridesmaids and family for a reason! This was the hardest lesson for me to learn but you MUST lean on the people around you. And don’t listen to anyone who tries to shame you for wanting to put thought into such an important day!

I can’t wait to share the specific moments from our special day with you all! I’ve been dreaming it up for so long, it feels kind of crazy that it’s getting closer each and every day!
