February Wrap Up

While January was fast and slow at the same time, I felt like February rolled out at a normal pace. I am happy with this month and all that occured, even though I had my fair share of stress. I really, really can’t believe our wedding is so soon. We’ve still got a ways to go, but we’re one month closer and that is NUTS to me. NUTS I say!

However, February was a really really special month. We launched Read it or List it, Nick and I celebrated 8 years together, and we had huge success with Romance Week on my instagram. I was stressed this month, don’t get me wrong. But so many wonderful things happened. I’m really proud of myself. What’s something that has you feeling proud?

Here’s what I read this month:

In Five Years by Rebecca Serle—Out March 10, 2020

Long Bright River by Liz Moore—Available now and a GREAT piece on audio!

The Regrets by Amy Bonnaffons—Available now and was a total trip. I read it in one sitting and I’m still confused as to why I liked it…but I definitely did.

Open Book by Jessica Simpson—Available now and another awesome audiobook! Jessica narrates it herself.

Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker—I loved this one and you know. Make sure to read The Simple Wild first!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han—A reread and loved it all over again.

PS I Still Love You by Jenny Han—Least favorite in the series, but adore the world!

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore—I read this on audio and I didn’t love it and didn’t hate it. I was really invested in the Kenzie story but otherwise found Oona to be kinda…annoying. hides from the pitchforks

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han—I reread this entire series once again in 3 days. I love these books and these characters.

Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren—I adored this book and read it in a single sitting. It’s my second Christina Lauren and just sent me into ANOTHER book hangover.

She Said by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey—I fittingly read this when Harvey Weinstein was found guilty. I think I liked Catch & Kill by Ronan Farrow more on a “story” level, but appreciated the work that went into this piece of journalism more.

The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal—Not gonna lie, this was was slowwww reading for me. It took a lot of focus but I still really liked the story. It just wasn’t what I thought it was going to be from the onset!

12 books seems to be my monthly average! What did you read this month?

I do not own the cover art for any of these books.
