Book of the Month

I was super skeptical of Book of the Month before I gave it try at the beginning of the summer. Now, I think it I might be one of it’s biggest fans! Here’s why I love it: for $14.99 a month, you receive access to early releases and the most popular books of the month. Plus, they’re always hardcover. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a hardcover book for less than $25.

I use the library for all my reading so I don’t feel guilty treating myself to one or two books through Book of the Month! You receive a credit each month to get a book without any additional charge and every additional book you choose is only $9.99. And the best part is, shipping is always free!

I typically only use my credit because I don’t like to increase my expenses if I can avoid it!

Today is the last day to sign up to get the August books—if you want to try it out, you can get a free book using this link!

I chose Well Met for my August pick because it’s been on my radar for awhile. I love Shakespeare retellings and I’ve been really craving/needing light summer reads for August and I think this one will be perfect!

Book of the Month featured me on their Instagram back in July, so they were kind enough to give me a free book in exchange! So I decided to add on The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen. It sounds like the perfect summer read to bring with us on our lake house vacation at the end of the month.

There are a TON of thrillers available this month. Turn of the Key, by Ruth Ware author of The Women in Cabin 10 is one of them. And A truly spooky sounding one, The Whisper Man. I don’t do scary, but if you choose those please let me know what you think! Maybe I’ll get to them in 5 years when the hype finally gets to me (lol).
