Wedding Wednesday: Favor Inspo

When we got engaged, I never thought we would ever be at a point where the wedding would be so close. We are exactly 7 months away from the big day today (and I just realized that as I typed this out!) and I kinda can’t believe it. 

At this point in planning, we’re checking in with our vendors about specifics and now it has me thinking about small details, like wedding favors! 

On this Wedding Wednesday, I have a few thoughts on wedding favors. To do them, to not do them, something with your date, something edible? They’re a huge cost, so what’s the point at the end of the day?! 

As a guest, I like getting a favor. Something edible is always a good way to go. I have a couple wine and beer glasses and they sit on our bar. The best one we have was designed by my best friend (and bridesmaid!) for her wedding. 

We are going to be doing favors, but we’re choosing something that connects to our engagement story AND will be useful for some. It’s sentimental and edible, to give you a hint! 

If you’re not interested in doing a physical gift, a donation to your favorite charity or one close to your heart is a great option as well! Sydney from Summerwind is doing this, since she and her fiance adopted a dog from Tracy’s Dogs!
