Weekly Wrap Up 8/23/24

We are so back! Happy Friday, everyone. I haven’t written a Weekly Wrap Up post since the first week of July and it feels so good to be back in the swing of things here. I don’t have any wild or thrilling updates, except that I did not like Middle of the Night by Riley Sager. It didn’t feel like a book written by him at all! I did enjoy Daydream by Hannah Grace and it was a nice dip into a brain candy book that I desperately needed.

I am SO excited (and a little nervous) because I am off on a writing retreat next week. I used to share a lot more about writing and my writing process to hold me accountable but then it became overwhelming and I felt like I had a ton of imposter syndrome. But now, I have just found joy in sharing authentically again. When I think of something I want to share, I pull out the camera. It’s been really fun and healthy for me and I think has made me better at this whole Internet thing in general.

But for now, here’s what I read, watched, shopped, and prepped for the weekend!

What I Read:

Middle of the Night // Daydream //

Weekend Reading Plans:

The Art of Catching Feelings

Purchases of the Week:

Fleece Zip Up // Fleece Vest // Carley Fortune Tee //

Weekend Plans:

It’s a working weekend before my writing retreat and I can’t wait! I’ll be at the bookshop for a bit on Saturday and all day Sunday, so I’ll definitely be trying to squeeze a few pages of my book in when I can and organizing my thoughts for writing! I have never done a dedicated trip like this and I am nervous but also so grateful to have the support I do.
