Weekly Wrap Up 5/10/24
You know when you’re so tired you can’t read? But then you spend all that time not reading and being angry that you’re not reading but your brain and eyes just can’t absorb a book at that moment? That was me most of this week. It’s the WORST feeling but sometimes you just need to honor it because otherwise your reading experience suffers. At least it does for me!
I wish I could go back to my perfect Friday last week. It was 80 degrees, I took the day off and went to the beach. I’ve done this for the last three years and I’ve read every single one of Carley Fortune’s books on the first day it feels like Summer. It’s such a gift and a little tradition I have for myself. I loved Carley’s latest! It was such a fun, summery, romantic and lovely novel. But I guess this is where I have to admit I’ve never read or scene Anne of Green Gables….
