Book Club Picks for the End of the Year

I am not in a book club currently (I wish I was!) but i do often think about what books would make the best options for book clubs. What kinds of books create conversation, seem to generally liked, or could help people connect? For the end of the year, I’m sure lots of people are looking for light, festive reads. But after the results of the election, maybe you’re looking for something to connect and grow and take action. I hope these are helpful choices!
