How to Read 100+ Books a Year
One of the most popular questions I get is, “how do you read so much?” And the answer is very simple: I make time for it. When I started sharing my reading life online, I read a lot. Now, I read even more. And while it may seem unrealistic to a lot of people, at the end of the day I prioritize the stories that I LOVE and not what I think I should be reading. When you read what you love, you want to read even more.
The biggest thing that I do to read more is utilize multiple forms of media in order to consume my books, like E-Books and Audiobooks, in addition to physical copies of my books. Reading is also an expensive hobby so I’m sharing some ways to get the most bang for your buck and support locally in your communities.
Audiobooks
You can use an app like Libro.fm, which supports independent bookstores.
The Libby App connects to your local library so you can read audiobooks for free!
E-Books
I love using Kindle Unlimited and find some real gems on there
You can also connect your Kindle or Kobo to your local library to read library books on your E-Reader!
Physical Books
Re-Sale sites like Pango Books are great to find used books at a fair price
Check Goodwill and other charity shops in your area!
Follow your local library on social media and stay up to date on their yearly sale! You can find amazing books for $1-2!
