My Guide to Custom Bookish Ornaments
A sweet follower sent me a link to an Etsy shop that i have come to love so much. Ink Shrink Swag makes custom book ornaments that i love to put on the tree i keep in my study. This is my office and my library but it’s such a unique piece of decor that makes me so happy to look at throughout the season!
I love supporting small shops and I love custom decor! I answer all the questions I tend to get In this post so that you can get some for yourself if you’re interested.
They also make a great gift! I had a teacher message me once and tell me she got some for her classroom with the books she reads with her students. I know some friends who have gotten the stack options for their book clubs with their favorite books. If you’re a bookworm, they are seriously so special.
For even more info, I recommend this post from last year! I also have videos saved on my Instagram!
FAQS
The Shop is called Ink and Shrink Swag
Kristina is AMAZING but I like to put this post out on the early side because the closer we get to the holiday season, the busier she gets. I recommend ordering no later than September or October! I also place an order in July and August, then usually in January with my favorite books from the back half of the year!
I have the Jumbo Size and all the ones pictured here are the Jumbo, but the order I placed this year is the the Small Size!
You can also get stacks of your favorite books! Whether it’s a series or just a group of books you want together, Kristina can do it all. This was the ornament that made me make my first purchase!
Custom Stack —Up to 15 books!
If ornaments aren’t your thing, Kristina also does jewelry, keychains and bookmarks! I’ve seen some authors order in bulk for book signings and book clubs and I think it’s so special.
If you don’t celebrate Christmas, I don’t think you need to think of these as just for a Christmas tree. I hang mine on a clothes line throughout the year so I can enjoy them all year long!
If you order some, let me know! I love to see them. I don’t know why but they make me so happy to see!
