Weekly Wrap Up 5/11/23

While this week was tough for me, it did have some major highlights! I’m on the board for our BFA program and my best friend and I planned their annual gala this year. It was a lot of work and I’m glad it went successfully, but goodness am I glad it’s over for now. But, it was fun to get dressed up! We also attended the 3rd annual Micah Hyde Charity Softball game for the Imagine for Youth Foundation and it was amazing! It was a little cold and it did rain, but gosh it was great to be with Bills fans and support a fantastic charity! Go Bills, always.

The rest of the week I felt myself slipping into a bit of a reading slump, simply because I’ve got a lot on my mind right now, but ended the week with the loveliest sunshine. The nice weather really does make such a difference in my mood and productivity!

The scene from Sahlen Field!

Honestly, the best $40 dress I’ve ever purchased and have now worn for two formal occassions.

Weekend Plans:

This has been a busy week since my theatre students have their end of year showcase! Saturday I’ll be at the theater all day and we have a big college graduation in our family! Sadly, I won’t be with my mom for Mother’s Day but I’m looking forward to a low key day at home. I desperately need it! I plan on starting a Pango Books shop and unhauling a lot of my unread books. I am ready to feel lighter! And a little less bogged down.

Have a great weekend and keep an eye out for The Bookmark.
