Weekly Wrap Up 4/28/23

April has been a month full of travel and it’s had me in a bit of a tizzy. It’s been tough to stay in a routine and I feel like I’m constantly behind right now. Which is a little true but it’s also been exciting to do so much and see so many people I love. This weekend, I’m off to Charleston and I am ready for Summer weather!!! I’ll be lying by the pool as much as possible while also enjoying time with my friends.

I can’t believe April is coming to an end. It started off as a month I was dreading, since I knew it was going to be chock full of travel, deadlines, and saying goodbye to an 8 month contract. But here we are, with one more weekend of travel for a while (til Memorial Day Weekend at least) and I still managed to read a bunch of books. I didn’t make as much progress on my writing as I wanted to, but I’m hopeful May will bring lots of creativity.

Here’s what I was up to this week!

I started the week at home in Connecticut and it was amazing to be back on the beach! I always thought I was a Fall girlie, but I am a Summer girlie through and through.

What I Read:

Flawless // A Perfect Vintage // A Caribbean Heiress in Paris // Meet Me at the Lake

Weekend Reading Plans:

Kit McBride Gets a Wife // The Day Dreams // The Comeback Summer // Fool Me Once

Got My Eye On:

Travel Cosmetic Bags // Bathing Suit //

I’m planning on scrolling less in May because I am so sick of spending money lol.

Weekend Plans:

I’m in Charleston for a bachelorette party this weekend! It’s also our two year wedding anniversary and I can’t believe how time has gone. I feel like it was a million years ago at this point but also feel like it didn’t really happen. I’m looking forward to hanging out with my friends, warm weather, and celebrating Independent Bookstore Day!

Let me know where you’re shopping for Indie Bookstore Day!
