Books By Trope: No 3rd Act Break Up

One of the most popular trends in Romance right now is books without a third act break ups. I don’t think it’s ever been something I’ve been really tuned into, but the more i read, the more i realize i prefer it. A lot of Romance readers complain about the miscommunication trope because it feels so easy. When the conflict at the end of the book is coming from outside the relationship, it’s refreshing and appealing to see it solved by the couple as a team, rather than individuals. It keeps the tension in the plot versus the characters and keeps the reader from that devastated feeling for the final 25%.

Below are nine very different romances, but they all have one thing in common: NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP!
