Weekly Wrap Up 12/8/23

The first week of December is in the books, literally. I finally am back in a good eyeball reading groove thanks to revisiting a favorite Christmas read, Faking Under the Mistletoe! While things have still been tough for me personally, the wonder and beauty of the lights of the season have definitely helped calm me down and enjoy the little things.

I went to The Nutcracker with my mom last weekend and it was such a beautiful evening. My mom is a ballerina so the Nutcracker holds such special memories for me. The music always makes me cry! It was my first time hearing it with a live orchestra. I highly recommend finding a performance near you if you’re looking for a great outing for the whole family.

I hope you had a great week as well and a restful, fun weekend.

Weekend Plans:

I am so excited for a fancy holiday party we have tonight! There’s just something about getting dressed up and spending time with people you love. Good music, good food, and games. I cannot wait! And then on Saturday we’re going to go to the tree farm, bake cookies, and have a cozy day. Sunday I have to work for a couple hours and then we’ll watch football. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, no matter what you’re celebrating!
