Weekly Wrap Up 12/22/23
Coming to you live from Winter Break and I couldn’t be happier. I tried to sprinkle in as much festive cheer as possible this week while still staying on track with my deadlines and spending time with friends. I had my work holiday party, went to my best friend’s work holiday party, and had a girls’ book exchange! It was such a wonderful week and a feeling I’ll hold onto for a long time. Adult friendships are so important and I’m so grateful for the people I have around me.
And in all of the craziness, I still had time to read! I want to find as many quiet moments as possible in the next three days to enjoy my favorite holiday stories. And I still need to choose what I am going to read for Jolabokaflod on Christmas Eve!
What I Read:
A Newport Christmess // Faking Christmas // The Trouble with Tinsel // Christmas in Coconut Creek //
Weekend Reading Plans:
Big Nick Energy // It’s a Fabulous Life
Listening & Watching:
Christmas with the Kranks // Happiest Season // White Christmas
Weekend Plans:
We’re going to a family friend’s tomorrow, the Bills play and then we set off on our Christmas traditions Sunday and Monday! One thing we always do is have grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch on Christmas Eve and even though this Christmas is going to be different since I’m not going home to Connecticut (for the first time ever in my life), I want to keep this up.
Wishing you and yours a wonderful, happy, joy filled weekend whether you are celebrating or resting!
