Weekly Wrap Up 12/15/23

It’s a week of Christmas cheer. I am trying to enjoy every moment of the holidays this year. We had a holiday party last Friday night and it was so nice to get dressed up and enjoy the night. But I had a really productive week all things considered and that always makes me feel like I have a bit of control over my time.

I have been loving our daily reading sprints for #TisTheReadson2023. It’s been really helpful for me to have that set time each day to focus on my book for an hour and it was a great reading week! More on that below.

I’ve started to think about my goals for 2024 and one of my big goals is cutting down on unnecessary spending. I think I may rework my Weekly Wrap Ups next year so I don’t have the “Got My Eye On” section or “Purchases of the Week” and instead just share what I love…it’s a work in progress and honestly, I don’t think a ton of people read these anyway.

We’ll see where it goes!

What I Read:

The Merry Mischief List // Out on a Limb // Second Chances in New Port Stephen

Weekend Reading Plans:

Big Nick Energy // Snowed In // The Trouble with TInsel // A Newport Christmess

Purchases of the Week:

Only Santa did shopping this week!

Got My Eye One:

And I’m trying not to spend in 2024…so starting now!!!!

Weekend Plans:

It’s cookie weekend! We’re going to make our cookies to bring as host gifts and for dessert next weekend. It’ll be my first year being in charge of the cookies instead of my mom and I’m feeling the pressure but I’m ready for the challenge. So, hopefully lots of audiobook time and movie time while we decorate. I also want to make gingerbread houses this weekend.
