The Books I want to Read Before Summer Ends

I set out to have a Summer full of reading. I was finally going to read a bunch of the books on my physical TBR…and I haven’t done that. Camp Out with a Book was supposed to help me and instead I’ve been struggling to stay focused! Granted, the Summer has been full of ups and downs. I’ve had a great Summer, but I miss reading as much as I used to. Between the show, work, and focus issues, I haven’t made a dent in my backlist reads like I wanted to.

So I’m going to narrow it down even more! Here are seven books from my physical TBR that I plan on reading before Summer ends.

Vacationland by Meg Mitchell Moore

It’s in the title. Someone please take ME to Vacationland.

On Gin Lane by Brooke Lea Foster

I haven’t read any historical fiction in a MINUTE but give me some rich people problems in the Hamptons as a distraction and I’m all in.

The Counselors by Jessica Goodman

I never read thrillers but I’ve been particularly drawn to YA thrillers of late. And this one is set at camp!

Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger

This has been on my TBR for way too long! I think it will suck me in immediately.

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Every time this book flashes in the background of my stories, people are appalled I haven’t read it. I’m working on it! But I need to mentally prepare to be sad lol.
