Weekly Wrap Up 6/10/22
Oh what a week. I was in a bit of a reading slump last week, which I wrote about more in my newsletter, but after it went on for more than a few days, I knew I needed to try to break it. I sampled a few books and finally committed to Set On You by Amy Lea. But it really was my audiobooks that helped get me out of my slump!
I didn’t start 2022 with a great audiobook streak but now I am back in one and it has felt so good. As I’ve been really busy with writing, acting, and teaching, it’s felt good to read when I’m doing chores. And once I got back into my audiobook groove, it made me crave sitting down with my kindle and physical books.
I was still really busy so I didn’t get to sit down for too long but it felt good to finish a book. I’m also a week into my three month long book buying ban (I ordered the writing book in May and it just arrived!) and it’s going well. I’m actually craving minimalism more and more every day so it feels good to purge and read what I want!
