The Best Pool + Beach Bags for Summer Reading

Summer reading is the best season of reading, in my humble opinion. There’s just something about reading by a body of water than makes time stand still and feel like the days are endless. One of my goals for the year has been to lower my screen time and reading outside always helps with that.

I love packing my bag full of books, SPF, and a towel and sitting by the pool, beach, or lake for hours. I’m rounding up some of my favorite beach and pool totes ideal for summer reading and travel.

Last year, I randomly found a waterproof bag in the dollar section at Target. It was supposed to be a lingerie or bathing suit bag, but looking at it, I knew it would fit a large hardcover book. So it became my waterproof book bag!

And you can’t forget a good towel! I usually read on my Kindle, which is waterproof, but if I read a physical book I always bring a towel to the edge of the pool with me.
