Weekly Wrap Up 3/25/22
Happy Friday, my friends! This was a middle of the road type week. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t awful. Nick is traveling for work again this weekend but Beasley and I are staying put this time. We have a birthday party for our friends’ twin daughters and I’m seeing a show with friends. It’s been an adjustment for me to feel safe going out now that mask mandates have been lifted. I know life needs to move forward but it’s still be tough, especially because I know so many disabled and immunocompromised folks feel left behind.
So, all that anxiety translated into a not-so-great reading week. I had to DNF a book that wasn’t working for me and picked up a backlist title that has been on my shelf for too long hoping for distraction. Plus, I continued my audio reread of the ACOTAR series. I know I’m a broken record when it comes to that series but it just brings me such comfort when I need it most. I also tried to write (more on how March-O-Wrimo kind of failed next week) and Beasley got her first haircut!
